Advice like this makes me think of the OSHA cowboy. How does anyone have any brain-space left for actual work when he is "keeping in mind" his need to be vulnerable, acknowledge his privilege, not interrupt, and not say anything that might be considered harassment (as if men know where the ever-shifting boundary lies)?
The question is not whether you survived, but whether you did your best work, and that's something no one, including you, will ever know.
