Universal mail-in voting is the problem. The pandemic made it necessary as a temporary measure, but it opened the doors to all kinds of chicanery, including just plain lying about it. Claims against mail-in voting may be lies - those suitcases in Atlanta, for example - but so what? The flaw in the system is that lies about it will be believed by some and litigated by others. Go back to voting in booths, and this problem goes away.

States may need to hold off announcing running totals of votes so that no side sees any advantage in challenging votes yet to be counted. That would cost the networks a fortune, though, so I guess that won't happen....
