This seems to me a non sequitur. Most men do not have a dog in this fight. Women worry about trans women in women's spaces and women's sports. Thus, while men may be less likely to recognize transsexuals as members of their trans sex, they are not at all likely to lead or drive a movement, because, mostly, they don't care.
