As for the subject of the brouhaha, the partner program already generates revenue for Medium. Charging the successful partners more is just cutting their share under a different name. I post stories, but I do nothing to create a readership and so can at least pretend that's why I don't have one. But for those who do try to make money here, I would suggest that those who earn enough money for Medium have their fees waived as a bonus, not increased as a tax.
