Choices? What sex are all those dead Russians in Ukraine? What sex died in Vietnam? Agency? Ever heard of Lysistrata?

Under rules of which I did not speak, poor women are baby factories and poor men are cannon fodder. Those rules benefit the elites. But the rules of which I did speak - gender specialization in general - do not benefit elites. Those rules suppress freedom of choice for both sexes among those who could otherwise afford to exercise it. I am, for example, pro-choice. The rules of which I speak require that men support their children and women rear them, not that anyone have them. What bad men do under those rules are violations of them, not examples of them.

Go off in a huff if you like. My arguments are there to be refuted or not. Whether you try to refute them is your, er, choice. I find yours unpersuasive. Readers can decide for themselves which of us is right.
