Does this article have a point? What does it satirize? It mentions some dumb things some Democrats say. But the idea of any moral equivalency between Democrats and Republicans this year is indefensible.

There's an old saying: Quantity has a quality all its own. Something can be so bad that talking about it as a member of a class of things is inherently misleading. Trump is Hitler, another tyrant who was democratically elected. So, yes, we may vote ours democracy out of existence. If the Republican wins, democracy is at risk, and if the Democrat wins, it is not. Is that really so hard to grasp?

Lots of people - especially totalitarian progressives - like to say "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem." The claim can in fact be true, but usually isn't. This time, it is. If you're not helping Harris defeat Trump, whatever your feelings on her policies, you are complicit in the consequences.

Trumpism must be defeated because it is Nazism. It is about race and only about race. It is the apotheosis of Nixon's southern strategy. Unless you believe that representative democracy has outlived its usefulness, you should not do anything that gives any comfort to its enemies. Feel free to take down this post, comments and all.
