Every generation thinks it has discovered the hidden downside of capitalism. Sunshine warms and burns. How we use it is our problem. Capitalism once created child labor. Now, in most civilized places, it does not. Capitalism created cartels. Now, they are banned. Consumers meet with capitalists and workers in a place called "Congress," where they have the opportunity to sort out the externalities of how we produce and distribute the fruits of mental and physical labor. If Congress is dysfunctional, that's because we elect venal morons. Whose fault is that?
There's nothing wrong with capitalism that people can't fix by paying the cost of the restraints they demand. Just don't expect capitalists to volunteer to go broke.
