From a legal perspective, this is really an interesting case. Come at it from the other end. What are a parent's rights with respect to a promiscuous child? What authority can the parent exercise, what preventive actions can the parent take, and what punishments may a parent administer, all to keep the child from contracting a disease, spreading a disease, becoming pregnant, or impregnating someone (who is probably also a child)? To the extent that answer has anything to do with contraceptives, what right does the Federal government - or any government - have to interfere?

Ad hominem arguments - "the judge is a Bible-thumping zealot" - are not really arguments at all.
