God Saved Trump. Too Bad About the Others.
If ever there was a reason not to believe in God, we saw it on July 13, 2024. That was the night some damn fool shot at Donald Trump and, through the intervention of the alleged almighty, “only” killed Corey Comperatore, a good man whose fireman’s boots Trump isn’t fit to polish. I loathe Trump, but I have great respect for most of his supporters. I have frequently described them as the sort of people who would rush into a burning building to save your dog. Little did I know…
But no matter. The GOD of what was once the GOP had plans for Corey Comperatore. That God, like all of the leaders of the current Republican party, cares only about Trump. He martyred Corey Comperatore to boost Trump’s chances to destroy America. What a guy!
Trump announced the Almighty’s priorities by posting this on Truth Social:
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening.
Well, you orange turd, the unthinkable did happen to Corey Comperatore and two other of your supporters who were seriously wounded.
Trump is not alone in his praise of this tragic outcome. You can read the callous thanks to their God from Republican pols all the way up to the Speaker of the House.
