Good work!

One problem with the CARES Act is that pols can't resist labeling rescue legislation as "stimulus" legislation. Once they do that, they are stuck trying to figure out how much "stimulus" the legislation created. But the point of the act was not to keep people at work; it was to keep them AT home and IN their homes. Of course people "saved" their money; they were rightly being encouraged NOT to go out and spend it. The whole idea of a fiscal multiplier makes no sense given the true purpose of the legislation.
