Huh? The Republicans can't win the popular vote, so they should get rid of the EC because soon they won't be able to win that vote either?

Maybe the party needs to become more than a coalition of scared White men and amoral plutocrats. Then, maybe they could win a national election with or without the EC.

Biden showed what the Dems can do if they pay attention to working Americans. There's still plenty of identity politics in the party - Kamala Harris, really? - but the HRC era of overfishing the grievance pool may have ended, at least at the party level. (It's still going strong here on Medium.)

The Republicans need to get a life. The system isn't their problem; they are.
