I can understand why a person would be a theocrat. If you believe that religious law conduces to a happy populace, then you want religious law to be the law.
What I can't understand is how anyone who is a Christian theocrat can believe that a gluttonous, avaricious, lustful, envious, slothful, prideful and perpetually angry man should be our leader. I would appreciate any Christian's explanation of how Trump's perfect score on the Deadly Sin test does not disqualify him in their minds from the highest office in the land. Are we to believe that installing the Anti-Christ in the White House is part of the deity's inscrutable plan? Is anyone really that stupid?
