I could speak for people like me, but I don’t know any, and neither do you.

As it happens, I do call myself a conservative, but not on-line, because people like you (do you see how unpleasant that sounds?) conflate conservatism with various sociopathies, as in “conservative without the insanity.” Do you mean “conservative but not also insane”? That works for me, although I don’t see anything remarkable enough about not being insane to make the term any more useful than “conservative but not also fat”or “conservative but not also pregnant.”
