I do disagree with you. You are conflating authoritarianism with fascism, whereas the horseshoe theory merges authoritarianism and totalitarianism. Neither extreme brooks dissent. Whether they shout you down or shoot you down, it's their way or the highway. That's all there is to the horseshoe theory. Any other differences between left and right are irrelevant to that claim.

I don't disagree with your comments about differences between the green left and the orange right. But the horseshoe theory isn't about them, so why use that theory as an excuse to say why you think liberals are better than the people you call conservatives?
