I hope you get an answer for this question, and I apologize for the rush you got when you saw that someone responded to your question only to discover that I had not answered it.

At least not authoritatively. I’m thinking this is a P vs. NP thing, that if a quantum computer can quickly spit out answers that are “probably” right, an “ordinary” computer attached to it (or part of it) can test that answer without being nearly as clever as the computer that suggested it. Not understanding anything about how a quantum computer gets to its “probably” correct answer, I’m just speculating on a logical process that would work if the quantum computer is right often enough. As I said, I hope someone who actually knows something replies…
