I think it is wrong to treat "banning" TikTok as an attack on free speech. Congress has banned CHINESE ACCESS to data about TikTok users. No one's speech is impaired, especially with regard to content. An alternative platform will emerge, one without the security risk. That so many Americans rely on Tiktok proves that it must not be subject to control by a foreign power.

I have no problem with China's restrictions on foreign ownership of businesses there. We should be equally protective of our assets. American real estate and American industry should be controlled by Americans, full stop.
