I think Whoopi got it wrong on the facts, but I don't really see what the fuss is about. To me, the suspension is just performative bullshit. If there were anything like a movement to establish that Jews are somehow "White" in a way that should cause them to suffer some bad fate reserved only for some other group of "White" people, I would be concerned. But one woman being wrong and apologizing when corrected is a kerfuffle only the professionally aggrieved opportunist can love.
