I wish there were a conservative network. But there isn't. Joe Scarborough is a conservative. Real conservatives are institutionalists. Real conservatives believe that our constitution is designed to produce compromise, not color war. What we call the "Right Wing" are essentially white supremacists who must grapple with change. The American Zeitgeist used to be white supremacist. Now, it isn't. That sucks for white supremacists.
Wallace and any other honest journalist should have left Fox News when it started airing pro-Trump "entertainers" like Hannity. From that point on, the journalists at Fox became human shields, useful idiots for Roger Ailes to parade out as proof that his network was "fair and balanced." No one was watching Fox News to get the news, so what point was there in being someone on Fox News who did the news? Late is better than never, but never s a pretty low bar to clear.
I wonder if the morons at AT&T who sought to fund a "conservative" network knew that they were funding a seditious one instead. OAN is wall-to-wall fascist bullshit (so bad that some of its people are moving to Newsmax, which they perceive as less ridiculous). There isn't a conservative thought anywhere in sight.
There's no point in defending some of MSNBC's more identitarian personalities, but "whatabout?" isn't ever an argument. Fox News is evil, and anyone who lies down with that dog cannot complain of waking up with fleas.
