I'd argue that your position is religious. It's based on the notion of monolithic ideals.
We are programmed to respond to some mutations as dangerous and maladaptive. Not being cis-het is one of those. That programming is itself a product of natural selection. There is no monolithic ideal, no ideology of good or bad. Our genes tell us what to be afraid of. What we do with that fear is another matter. Transphobia and homophobia need to be socially and politically suppressed, but there is nothing idealistic or religious about recognizing their natural origin.
