I'm pretty sure she's ok with that. Not because she doesn't want gay clients - she's said she is happy to do non-message work for them - but because losing the business of people who don't like her politics is a price she is willing to pay.
As for the wedding cake, there is a very fuzzy line between art and generic product. Arguably, if there were no art involved in the cake, the couple could buy figurines for their cake and put them on themselves. But even if there are close cases, there are also clear ones. The kind of personalized website that Lorie says she intends to create is one of the latter.
A legal precedent is only a precedent for things just like it. If the baker isn't like Lorie Smith, her case is not a precedent for theirs.
