I'm sure the red state stuff is awful, too. But you are talking about staff training, and I am concerned only with including "How to be a better person" in the student curriculum. One is an HR problem, the other a mission issue.

I have no problem with mandatory training for staff. If the training is obnoxious, so be it. At least they are paying you to undergo it, unlike students who pay for the privilege of re-education.
