"I’m thinking, wow, these (white) people sure seem scared of their kids learning what racism is, and how it affects society. I wonder why?"

That's your take-away from an attack on White children's self-esteem? Yikes.

White Americans are "scared" that an attack on the self-esteem of their children will be bad for their children. (Isn't that what Brown v. Board of Education was about?) They are scared that the sins of the fathers are being visited on the sons. They are scared that getting even is replacing getting better.

The fear is well-founded, whether or not White parents know what Critical Race Theory is. For them, it's just a label, like, say "racism," that they attach to the wokester's war on Whiteness. Is the label accurate? No one who cares about what is happening cares whether it is accurate or not. The label works, because the threat, whatever its name, is real.

Basically, articles like this one just try to change the subject from what White people fear to how precisely they articulate their fear. The tweets quoted in the article are what needs to be refuted, if they can be. Intead, Mr. Sizemore grosssly misinterprets them. That reaction is, to be kind, unhelpful.
