Just because violence is justified does not make it the wisest move. It's one thing to justify starting a war and quite another to claim that the other side should not fight back.

Ms. Joseph confuses justification with tolerability. The violence and looting may be justified, but it's intolerable; shooting looters is justified, too. That's how war works.

Maybe if the looters stole an education...
