All day every day? At every social gathering? When will you people understand that people don't like being hectored about anything, whether you call it guilt or responsibility. They just want to watch the fucking ballgame or enjoy the turkey in peace.

All Black activists can ever expect from White people they are getting now: affirmative action, scholarships, DEI, and a reduced level of discrimination. To demand more is to seek excuses for not bringing the good news to Black kids that the world is no longer stacked against them any more than it is against any other minority.

It is easy to describe what more White people could do, but it is impossible to get them to do it. The law of diminishing returns applies to White involvement in Black advancement. Now it's time for less "it's their fault" and more "it's our problem."
