You're too kind. For this audience, something more like "...one of the most angry, envious, gluttonous, greedy, lustful, prideful, and slothful men..." would be more on the nose. These Evangelicals are CHINOS - Christians in name only.

Yes, many good people voted for Donald Trump, but no wise ones did. The good ones may have an excuse for their ignorance, but there is is nowhere a good Trump supporter who is not also clueless about what makes America great. My inner Christian says "Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do." But also, "Please, let them go back to worrying about something other than politics."
