Palestinians don’t surrender. They either get their land back or die.

Die, mostly. And the harder they fight, the more of them die.

Some wars really can be too costly to be worth winning. The people who got to North America before the Europeans could not hold their land nor could they retake it. They stopped fighting so that their kids could have a chance at productive lives.

The Arabs in Palestine were dying of malaria before a Zionist doctor came to town and got rid of the standing water. Fighting a perpetual, unwinnable revanchist war is no smarter than letting mosquitos breed in your back yard. And no more praiseworthy.
