The Electoral College did its job perfectly this cycle. Biden had to win back the Great Lakes. He could not do that without appealing to an exceptionally broad swath of electoral interests. That’s really all that we can ask of a Presidential election. I live in a suburb in a Blue state. I think the pitch for the PA vote served my interests adequately. Money was not wasted trying to win my vote. That’s a good thing, not a bad one.
