Take off your political blinders and put on your judicial spectacles. Read Justice Thomas's dissent in Term Limits, Inc. v. Thornton. He, and those who co-signed that opinion, are strong believers in a state's right to decide who its electors can support. He is the Democrats' strongest ally. They just are too dumb to know it.

(Justice Thomas should resign. But before he does, he should stick around to see his Thornton dissent, at least as its logic would apply to the appointment of electors, vindicated.)
