The average Parler user does not deserve to be called a "fascist." The average Parler user deserves to be called a fool. The real danger of social media is not that they let rebels publish, but that they allow fools to be found. Parler brings the rabble to the rouser. Forcing the bad guys back to paper would make them impotent, because they do not have an address list for paper. You cannot search the US Mail by hashtag.

Thanks for this info. One hopes that our intelligence services are doing something similar, although, since the NSA kerfuffle, it's not clear how much surveillance of chatter the good guys are allowed to do.
