The law suit will lose, because if anyone is breaking the law, it's the horde of colluding WSB guys. They are overtly manipulating the market and their "defense" is basically that two wrongs make a right. When I was practicing law, "Sticking it to the man" was not a recognized defense to a charge of stock manipulation. Maybe things have changed.

I'm guessing that the big boys will outlast these foolish children. There's plenty of money out there in the hedge fund world to meet the margin calls. That's not "bailing out" a money-losing fund; that playing hardball as a team.

Eventually, GME will trade at its real value, and those who short now will make out like bandits.
