The only paradoxical problem God purports to solve is the uncaused cause. If we ask who "caused" God, we are told some nonsense about God not needing to be caused. But even if we allow for God as uncaused and as the cause of, say, the Big Bang, for what else is God logically necessary? The Big Lug knocked over the first domino. Great. How or why are beyond our ken.

What logical reason do we have for believing that God is anything more than said Big Lug? Everything else could be a natural consequence of the Big Bang played out in gazillions of places over billions of years. In other words, by what deductive route must we conclude that God the first mover is ipso facto also a "loving" God? Why isn't the theologian's God just game theory for people who suck at math (i.e., most of us)?
