Which of these opinions is "obviously backwards, childish, cruel and stupid"?

I like the analysis in this article, but, then, I think Marx got a lot of things right, too. Self-esteem is, indeed, the key to electoral politics. But when we get to the solution, "economic democracy," things fall apart. We have economic democracy. If we think wages are too low, we can vote to raise them. If we don't vote to raise them, it's because we don't want to pay the price that products made by high-wage workers will bear. If cheap-labor imports are taking our jobs, we can vote for tariffs. Maybe that's part of why Trump was elected. Even with a Democrat in the White house, though, the tariffs are still available; we just have to march for them. But we don't. The democracy is there. The enemy, as always, is us. Education, not revolution, is the solution.
