This is a fine essay, but I would lose the stuff about the jubilee. If that was ever the practice, no sane lender would make a loan that came due after the jubilee. The result would be an economic cycle that never spiraled out of control through excess lending. Pretty clever, actually, but not in any way a form of relief to the poor.
