This is leftist horseshit. Financial markets exist to connect users of capitals with providers of capital. The waste, abuse, and fraud inherent in all human systems occurs in financial markets, too. But to say that the markets "exist" for any reason other than to make goods and services available to jerks like Mr. Woods is idiotic.
