To suggest that goods and services can be produced without significant labor input is to admit that labor never was a source of value. Rather, labor was a technology, a way to supply and guide energy that can be replaced by machines and software as soon as the latter becomes a better use of the resources committed to any given task. That's why the labor theory of value never made any sense. Labor is Plan B. Always has been, always will be. The issue is not scarcity but technology.
