We all know the old saw that we get the government we deserve. How, then, can people not understand that we get the capitalism we deserve, too? We don't have to shop at stores that import goods made by cheap labor. All we have to do is refuse to do so. Or, we could vote high tariffs on goods with low labor costs. We could impose taxes on polluters. Of course, then we would have to pay for the resulting US-made, eco-friendly substitutes.

The capitalists don't care. So long as there is demand, there is profit, and more American workers means more customers. Leftists simply blame capitalists for others' fecklessness as workers and citizens.
