"We don't shame and punish people for getting Covid in the way we shame and punish people for being obese."

I'm not so sure of that. In our house, and among our friends, we watch the anti-vaxxers and the morons at super-spreader events and think far less of them than we do of fat people. I have said on this thread that obesity is unhealthy. I believe that Covid carelessness is stupid and immoral. That seems harsher to me. Other people accost the maskless more aggressively than they do fat people. I'm not suggesting complete congruence, just saying that "How does their behavior affect you" is not as rhetorical a question as those who "ask" it pretend.

I'm not clear on how any part of my "thinking" contributes to the epidemic of obesity. Feel free to connect the dots. Try starting with a quotation.
