But that agenda is not new, and it isn't about Trump. That agenda is Gingrich and Atwater and Hofeller. That agenda is GOP politics BEFORE Trump, and it will be GOP politics AFTER Trump.

When the smoke clears, Trump will be revealed as Mitch's stooge, the guy who would appoint any judge the Federalist Society said and sign any law that would make himself richer. Biden will turn out not to be whatever it was Trump's idiot voters feared he would be, and they will go back to sleep.

What the GOP did was unforgiveable; the electorate's failure to rout the party while dumping Trump is deeply disheartening. But, to paraphrase Andy Dufresne, Biden needs to get busy leading or get busy losing. Things will get done. Mitch's obstruction has served its purpose, and Biden is a better infighter than Obama.

What we don't need is for Trump to pretend that the Biden Justice Dept., especially if it is led by someone like Sally Yates, who Trump fired, is out to get him. Let Cy Vance worry about the Drumpfs. The DOJ has bigger fish to fry.
