Why rise to the bait? You believe what you believe, and you do what you do. The verbs rule. The labels are of no use to anyone.

People who claim ideological identities inevitably end up arguing over who can use the label. You say you're a liberal. Are there no liberals with whom you have any policy disagreements? Does that make one of you not a liberal?Consider poor Trotsky. First, he was Lenin's pal, then he was a Menshevik in opposition to Lenin's Bolsheviks, then he left the Mensheviks over something, then he was murdered for not being the right kind of Communist. Why would you want a label?

Anyone who accuses you of "being" something is an idiot. Such people are best ignored.
