You are right to focus on education. Black workers discriminated against are a "bargain" only if they are as competent as White alternatives. But there is still the matter of what might be called "meta-education," of which this article is an example. Unless the Black community embraces education as a "way out," all the inputs in the world won't create the desired output. The resources must be made available, but the horse led to water must be willing to drink.
Unfortunately, IMO, too much anti-racism is aimed at White people, a waste of energy that might better be used to spread the Good News to Blacks that, warts and all, America in 2021 is not Tulsa in 1921. White people will get out of the way. Asking them to do more has a smaller return on investment than showing Black kids that they can do more.
